As I lay watching the moon, Celestial heights above me Living Earth below me Time is expiring.
The stars are going out One by one Their light fading Warmth receding. The only thing on my mind Is the possibility of tomorrow.
Will I see you again? Will this peace remain? Or will the world crumble Like sand between our fingers?
A small hope still resides Deep within my being, And one day it will be Bright enough to fill the world.

I once saw a cat, Trying to eat a rat. So there I sat, Upon my own hat.
You could see that the rat Was really quite fat, But the fact is that the cat Was blind as a bat.
Even though the rat was fat And the cat was blind as a bat, The victor was the rat
Always on the attack.
So there I sat, As if I’d been slapped. As the fat rat Ate the blind cat.
